How was your week? Did it rain in your area? It did in mine and everywhere has been wet, cold and cozy. You know what, I’m not even going to compain.
But yeah, did anything bring you joy, even for a second this whole week? Damn, I can’t believe we’re entering Q3 already. Like slow down omg. But for what it’s worth, I’M glad we get the chance to do this every end and begining of each week.
Like we’re 3 emails from it being our 100th email. Omg, I’m gonna cry (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞. Last year, when Zarri asked me to write emails for her. I almost said no cause I was scared, but you know what? I’m glad I didn’t say no.
I hope these emails make your week and I hope the words mean something to you even if it’s just a line of words that stay with you. Man, I’m so proud of us for sticking this far. Okay enough mushiness. Let me wipe my tearing eeys.

This weekend, I want you to make time for someone really special, the younger you. Do you ever think about younger you? I do alot, so much that I have pictures of her up on my wall.
The younger versions of us who built imaginary worlds, who danced with no rhythm under the rain or at a birthday party, the one who made messes when eating, made crafts, and art just because it felt good and had the brightest toothy smile.
You know what I’ve come to learn recenlty, that version of us is still here.
We kinda grew older but we’re still kids, you and me. When I say “I’m just a girl” it’s really because I am still a baby girl ahhh.
Our little selves didn’t disappear, they just got a little quiet under all the chaose, noise, responsibilities, and grown-up pressure. But they still want to play, be free. They still want to just be without thinking so much.
So here’s your task this weekend:
Do the thing that once made you feel like a kid. Return to the joy that asked for nothing but your presence. No judgment, no pressure, just you making happy moments and wearing that gummy smile of 8 years old you, with maybe a missing front tooth or not.
